Finnish Vocational Educational Research Association

Finnish Vocational Educational Research Association (FiVERA) was established in 1992.

Main tasks of the association are:

  • to promote research of vocational education and training, and professional growth
  • to strengthen the use of research and research evidence in the development of vocational education and training, education management, and in policymaking
  • to disseminate research findings and to propose research needs
  • to support discussion between researchers, teachers, management, other stakeholders and policymakers in the field of vocational education and training.
